Not In OUR Name...

After 90 years in San Francisco high schools, the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps must go, the San Francisco school board decided Tuesday night. The Board of Education voted 4-2 to eliminate the popular program, phasing it out over two years.

Why? Because of the military's policy of "don't ask, don't tell" that bans gays from the military. The board said.

Unlike liberal Democrats, let's put our honesty cards on the table. Everybody knows this is NOT about the military's "don't ask don't tell" policy. It's about being liberal and being anti-military. Period. Peacenics at the board meeting were holding up signs saying "Teach peace - not war". (I like to see them say that to a terrorist group one of these days - please.)

I looked up the email address of the four San Francisco Board members that voted against the JROTC:
Ms. Sarah Lipson slipson@sfusd.edu
Dr. Dan Kelly dkelly@sfusd.edu
Mr. Eric Mar, Esq. emar@sfusd.edu
Mr. Mark Sanchez msanche@sfusd.edu

slipson@sfusd.edu; dkelly@sfusd.edu; emar@sfusd.edu; msanche@sfusd.edu
if you want to copy and paste into your Outlook email and write to all four at once.

If you are gay and were in the military, tell these four people what they are doing is disingenous and dishonest and has nothing to about gays in the military. What they are doing is hurting 1600 San Francisco school kids who like the program. Tell them NOT in our name.

Tell them before they do the usual liberal thing - and shutdown their email service.
